NZ Concrete & Coat facilitates the training & developing of applicators in joint preparation, concrete edge repairs, sealant application and expansion joint installation. Training will combine supervised site experience with relevant trade qualifications and manufacturer guidance.

Our Training & Apprenticeship
Process.
Learn – Understand joint movement, common defects, materials and site safety requirements.
Observe – Work alongside an experienced applicator to see how joints are inspected, prepared and installed.
Practise – Carry out joint cleaning, edge preparation, backing installation and sealant application under supervision.
Apply – Install suitable joint systems on site, following the manufacturer’s instructions and project specifications.
Review – Check the finished work and build competence through feedback and further site experience.
